David GlennTV Stations
David A. Glenn co-heads TV stations operations for ION Media’s nationwide television station portfolio. He has been instrumental in the construction and operation of ION’s television stations, as well as its central technical operations and central-casting facility. Glenn’s experience includes overseeing the construction of over 100 television stations, including ION’s digital station build-out for the 2009 digital transition, making it the first company to introduce digital broadcast multicasting in the United States.
Glenn’s industry career includes roles in radio and television, as well as in FCC compliance and government contracting for the broadcast consulting firm Carl T. Jones & Associates. Glenn also operated his own company, designing and constructing 20 radio and television stations from Miami to the Mid-Atlantic states.
Glenn is a member of the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers and serves on the Executive Advisory Board of Harris Corporation. He has also co-authored technical presentations for IEEE and NAB. Glenn graduated cum laude from the University of Central Florida.
