ION Television’s ‘Qubo Kids Corner’ Programming Block to Air Three New Shows Beginning this Week

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, June 26, 2017 – ION Media today announced all-new programming acquisitions for its two special interest digital networks, Qubo and ION Life. Beginning today, Qubo, the nation's only 24/7 over-the-air network for children, will premiere the series “Giver” and “Pet Alien.” ION Life, a 24/7 over-the-air lifestyle network, will debut the series “P. Allen Smith’s Garden to Table” and “Search & Restore” on July 17.

“Giver,” from Sinking Ship Entertainment, follows teams of 6-12-year-olds who work together with their communities to build and improve local playgrounds, focusing on the importance of community, consciousness and having fun. “Pet Alien,” from Splash Entertainment, LLC, is a computer-animated series that follows the story of a young boy who struggles to educate his new group of friends about Earth’s ways.

From Legacy Distribution, LLC, “P. Allen Smith’s Garden to Table” features the acclaimed lifestyle expert and garden designer as he offers exciting ways to combine the gardening and dining experience. In “Search & Restore,” from Raycom Media, Inc., volunteer teams of pros will donate their time restoring rides nationwide to those worthy of a helping hand.

ION Television’s children’s programming block, “Qubo Kids Corner,” will replace its current lineup with new shows from Qubo’s library. “Zoo Clues” debuts this Wednesday, followed by “Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club” on Thursday and “Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab” on Friday. The hour-long “Qubo Kids Corner” block airs each Wednesday through Friday starting at 8/7c AM.
