Exclusive Content, “Saving Hope: First Look Season 3,” Will Help Kick Off New Season

Medical Series from ICF Films and Entertainment One Ranks in Top Five in Virtually Every Measurement and Demo in Time Period

WEST PALM BEACH, March 30, 2016 – Season three of ION Television’s newest original series, “Saving Hope,” will debut with all-new episodes on Tuesday, April 5, at 11 p.m., ET/PT. The 18-program season, from ICF Films and Entertainment One (eOne), will air each Tuesday as a two-hour block of back-to-back new episodes, with encore runs on Friday nights starting at the same time.

To whet viewers’ appetites, ION has created exclusive content, “Saving Hope: First Look Season 3,” that recaps the previous seasons of the medical drama and previews the new one. Featuring cast interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and Season 3 sneak-peek clips, the material will be available to fans via multiple cable and satellite providers. The series stars Erica Durance, Michael Shanks and Daniel Gillies.

“Saving Hope” ranks in the top five in Households, Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 in its time period, as well as among Women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. The Adults 25-54 audience has grown every month since its October 2015 debut, including by +17% in January 2016 when season two premiered. This season, among all cable networks, ION is #4 in Women 25-54 and #10 in Adults 25-54.

Having been renewed earlier this year for a fifth season of 18 episodes, “Saving Hope” is the latest successful original scripted series on the network, along with “The Listener,” “Flashpoint” and a robust lineup of original movies. Those programs join ION’s library of award-winning drama series, including “Criminal Minds,” “Blue Bloods” and all three “Law & Order” programs.

"Saving Hope" is produced by ICF Films in association with eOne and CTV, the originating Canadian broadcaster, with the participation of the Canada Media Fund and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit. Season 3 was executive produced by Ilana Frank and David Wellington, John Morayniss for eOne, and Lesley Harrison. Executive producers and showrunners are Morwyn Brebner and Adam Pettle. All distribution rights are handled by eOne.
